Ruth Vega, Dra. Architect

(short biography)

 

Doctor of Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, ETS of Architecture (2015, Outstanding Cum Laude) and architect from the same university (2003).

 

He has carried out his professional activity since 2003 and has extensive experience in the drafting, direction and management of new construction and rehabilitation projects, his specialty being the sustainable design of buildings (environmental, social and economic), energy efficiency , as well as the design and rehabilitation of facades.

 

In 2018 he moved his studio to Gipuzkoa, where he founded Rehark Arquitectura y Diseño , to offer a more local service for architecture and design projects, with a more personal and careful approach, tailored to each client.

 

She is a founding partner and active member of Cuartoymitad Arquitectura , a flexible structure based on continuous exchange and collaborative work with professionals from multiple disciplines.

 

In addition, she develops her teaching activity as an associate professor at the San Sebastián School of Architecture (UPV) and at the IE School of Architecture and Design , having given many workshops and participated in meetings with other national and international schools.

 

His work has been exhibited at the 11th Venice Biennale, at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art and at the Badajoz Contemporary Art Museum (among others). His projects and articles have also been published in magazines, books and catalogs related to the fields of art and architecture.
